In January 2010 Holta Invest AS acquired TINFOS International AS, the parent company of the TINFOS NIZI group, from Eramet.

Holta Invest AS is a private investment company, 100 % owned by Mr. Kjetil Holta. Holta Invest AS represents a long industrial history in Norway dating back to the establishment of TINFOS in 1894. Holta Invest AS was the majority owner of TINFOS AS until the TINFOS GROUP was sold to Eramet in 2008. Mr. Holta is an active owner involved in the day to day business as Chairman.

Under the new owner the Nizi group will continue to develop the business model of marketing, sales, distribution and trading of raw materials for foundries, steel works and related metal industries.

Following the further development of the group, Nizi International operates a Representation Office in Beijing/China since 01.05.2010. Being present in China allows the Company to increase efforts on strategic sourcing, improve quality control and develop new business opportunities in a growing Far East market.

Distribution and efficient logistic operations have always been important for TINFOS NIZI. Today the Company holds stocks of various materials at multiple locations throughout the world in order to be as close as possible to the end-users.

Our people are our main asset. The present organization of TINFOS NIZI includes staff with long experience within the Company combined with new people having obtained valuable experience outside the Company.

The TINFOS NIZI team enlarged to a world-wide network of offices is poised to take up the challenge of leading the Company into the next decades.

In June 2010 the Company launched the new name and Corporate Identify for the entire group. Since 21 June 2010 the group operates under the new brand name
